The Team Member Report
The Team Member Report
The Team Member Report answers "who did what, and what did it cost us?" for a period. Find it under Reports → Team Members.
For each person it shows:
- Hours logged, and how many of those were billable.
- Cost — their hours at their cost rate.
- Charged — the same hours at their billable rate.
- Tasks completed in the period, with a few notable ones named.

Choosing a period
Pick This week, This month, or Custom for any date range you like. Periods resolve in your agency's own timezone, so "this week" means your week (see "Set your agency timezone").
Currencies are never blended
If your team is paid in more than one currency, each one gets its own line — a member costing USD 60/hr on an AUD project shows a USD figure, not a converted guess. Totals work the same way.
This is deliberate. Adding USD and AUD together produces a number that isn't true in either currency, and quietly picking a conversion rate hides which one was used.
"No cost rate" is shown differently from "zero"
If a member has no cost rate configured for the period, the report says so rather than showing $0. Those are very different facts: one means the work was free, the other means we don't know what it cost.
If you see this, add a rate under Settings → Team. Bear in mind a rate applies from its effective date onward, so hours logged before that date still won't carry a cost.
Good to know
- Cost figures are permission-gated. If your role can't see cost data, the report shows hours and tasks and hides cost and charged — it won't show them as zero.
- Unassigned hours are time entries that couldn't be attributed to a member. A large number here usually means a time-tracking integration is mapping people by a name that doesn't match.
- You can ask for the same report in chat or Slack — "how did the team go this month?" — and get the identical numbers. The page and the assistant call the same builder, so they can't disagree.
FAQs
Why is someone's charged figure lower than I expect?
Only billable hours are charged. Check the billable split on their row, and whether any of their time is excluded from invoicing on the project.
Why don't the cost and charged columns use the same currency?
Because a member's cost rate and billable rate are set independently and can genuinely differ — for example a contractor paid in USD but billed to the client in AUD. Both are shown as they really are.
Can I export it?
Use your browser's print-to-PDF for a snapshot. For raw numbers, the Reports section's other views and your accounting integration are better suited to spreadsheet work.
