Your 7-day trial and plans
Every new agency gets a 7-day free trial with full access, so you can set up a project, send a quote, and try invoicing before choosing a plan.
- Your trial starts automatically the moment you create your agency — no card required.
- While your trial is active, you'll see a banner showing how many days are left, with a link to choose a plan whenever you're ready.
- Go to Settings → Billing to compare plans and pick the one that fits your team.
- Select Choose Plan next to the plan you want, and complete checkout.
The three plans are:
- Solo — $29/month, for freelancers and one-person agencies (1 team seat).
- Team — $99/month, for small teams (3 team seats).
- Agency — $199/month, for larger agencies (unlimited team seats).
Good to know
- Once your trial ends without a plan selected, most of the app locks except for Settings, so you can still get to Billing and choose a plan — your data isn't lost.
- Each agency gets one trial. If your subscription is later cancelled, you won't get a second free trial period.
- Your client portal and payment pages keep working for your clients even if your own subscription lapses — they can still view and pay outstanding invoices.
- Connecting AI assistants to Handl is included from the Team plan upward; it isn't available on Solo.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No — you can explore Handl for 7 days before entering any payment details.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings → Billing.
What happens if I go over my seat limit?
You won't be able to invite another team member until you free up a seat or upgrade to a plan with more (or unlimited) seats.
