What your client sees when they receive a quote

Clients don't need a Handl account to review and approve a quote — they get a secure link that opens straight to a clean, branded quote page.

  1. The client receives an email with a link to view the quote — no login required.
  2. The page opens with your agency's logo and name at the top, plus a Download PDF link.
  3. Below that, they see the project summary, then each quote line item with a total at the bottom.
  4. If you've added terms and conditions or attachments, those appear next.
  5. At the bottom is the approval section: the client enters their full name, email, and optionally a title, ticks a box confirming they've reviewed and approve the scope and pricing, and selects Approve Quote.
  6. If you turned on Auto-Pay for the quote, the client is asked to save a payment method before the Approve button becomes active.
  7. Once approved, the page shows a confirmation that their approval has been recorded and that you'll be in touch.

Good to know

  • Approving a quote is a one-step action for the client — typing their name and ticking the checkbox is how they "sign" it, there's no separate drawn signature step.
  • If a client wants changes instead of approving, they'll need to contact you directly — there's no in-app "decline" or "request changes" button, so it's worth letting clients know to reach out if something needs adjusting.
  • If the quote's expiry date has passed, or it's been revoked, the client sees a message explaining the quote is no longer available to approve.
