Brand the portal with your logo and colours
Your clients' portal, payment pages, and invoice emails can all carry your own logo and colour scheme instead of a generic look, so everything feels like it's coming from you.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Branding.
- Upload your logo under the Logo section (PNG, SVG, or JPEG, up to 10MB — a wide image around 200×60px works best).
- Set your Primary Colour and Accent Colour under Brand Colours, using the colour picker or typing a hex code directly.
- Optionally personalise the Email Footer and Agreement Footer text under Email Customisation.
- In a hurry? Use Auto-Extract from Website — enter your website's domain and Handl pulls a logo and colour palette from your site automatically in a few seconds.
- Save your changes.

- Branding is set once for your whole agency — it applies across every client's portal, not per project or per client.
- Your logo and colours also appear on the standalone invoice payment page clients use when paying via a direct link.
- Handl automatically adjusts text colour against your chosen background so labels stay readable, whatever colours you pick.
- The accent colour is used to highlight the active section in the client's portal navigation.
FAQs
Can I give different clients different branding? Not currently — branding is agency-wide, so every client sees the same logo and colours.
What if my logo has a transparent background? PNG or SVG with transparency works well and is recommended over JPEG for logos.
How long does auto-extract take? Usually 10–20 seconds — you can review and adjust anything it picks up before saving.
