Slack

Connect Slack to chat with your Handl AI assistant, get approval prompts, and receive cash-flow updates — all without leaving your workspace.

Steps

Go to Settings → Integrations and find the Slack card.
Click Add to Slack and choose your workspace when prompted.
Authorise the requested permissions — Handl needs these to post messages, read the conversations you invite it to, and let you use its commands.
Link your own Slack account to your Handl login, so the assistant knows who's messaging it.

What you get

Chat with the assistant by @mentioning it in a channel or messaging it directly — the same assistant and access as the in-app chat.
Approval cards for anything the assistant proposes on your behalf, so you can approve or decline right from Slack.
A morning cash-flow digest and nudges about overdue invoices, delivered automatically.

Slack carries chat, approvals, and digests through the one connection — it's not just a notifications feed.
Messages in Slack use simpler formatting than the web app (no tables), since some formatting doesn't render well there.
You can choose which channel receives digests and approval prompts when you connect.

Do I need to link my own Slack account separately? Yes — this is what lets the assistant recognise you and respond correctly to your DMs and mentions.

Can multiple teammates use the Slack connection? Yes — each person links their own Slack account to their own Handl login.

Will disconnecting Slack lose my chat history? Your Handl conversation history isn't tied to the Slack connection itself, but you'll stop receiving digests and approval prompts there until you reconnect.
